Code: M2166
Dimensions:
A pretty reclaimed petite Godin sick stove. The stove has a very pretty design with white enamel decorative scrolling detailing on the door and ovals and a flower on the lid. The main body of the stove is black which provides a nice contrast. The stove was designed to be gas powered and there are dials that hide under the enamel tray. PLEASE NOTE: The stove may be best suited for decorative use or as a film or TV prop as the door appears to be secured shut as we cannot get it open. Someone with a knowledge of these stoves may be able to get it open but we can take no responsibility if it does not open and it is sold as seen. The stove was tested in France many years ago and has a safety plaque but it is to French standard and WILL NOT meet UK standards. If you wish to try to get the stove working you MUST get a qualified gas engineer to carry out all works and testing required.
The stove is in good cosmetic condition with some small knocks to the enamel. There is some surface rust to the inner warming plate and the back pipe. The stove is sloped slightly backwards but this may be a design feature. The feet bolts might need some tightening. Please see pictures for condition details. The stove is a very pretty item that would be ideal for decorative purposes.
