Fourteen square metres of reclaimed rustic, pine boards / flooring, sold as a parcel. The boards have considerable age and date to the Georgian period. The boards have a great deal of character and rustic charm and are all approximately 9" wide. The boards were originally used as flooring but the boards are ideal for patching existing floorboards or for a rustic project.
The boards are of varying thicknesses and will need to be planed to make them the same thickness if to be used as floor boards or in a run of boards. The pine shows signs of age and wear, as expected. The boards have many nails and thick staples in them that will need to be removed by purchaser. There are splits and surface cracks. The boards have uneven ends, knocks, chips and signs of age. The ends have some notches out of them. The boards have differing thicknesses. The boards will need sanding and finishing. The photographs show a sample of the boards, to illustrate their condition, but each board has differing signs of age and differing colour. Please see pictures for details. The boards have great character and age and will work well in a rustic or country style home for a project.
