A very rustic and weathered, large, antique stone sink that is ideal for use as a trough or garden planter. The sink, likely to be 19th Century, has a rustic appearance and weathering from being outside and this has given it an appealing aged look. The sink is very heavy and solid and has a good area for planting. The sink has a drainage hole but no pipes. The sink is an antique and has character wear and signs of use, but it is very solid and useable and in good condition for its age. The base of one side has a large chip. There are some smaller chips throughout. There is natural weathering, wear, stains and signs of being outside. The stone has uneven edges and pitting. There are some surface cracks and splits. Please see pictures for condition details. The stone sink is the ideal antique item for adding character and interest to an outside space and would make a perfect rustic planter.
