A set of attractive reclaimed garden furniture comprising of a bench and a seat. The furniture is very well made and is approximately 60 years old. The chair and bench have blacksmith made steel frames, painted pale blue, with wooden slatted seats. The wood has been painted blue and has an attractive weathered look. The frames are of the same design and the bench and seat have decorative scrolling arms. The wooden slats are solid but the front slat of the bench was damaged and has been replaced with a new oak slat. The furniture is reclaimed and therefore has some character signs of age and wear. The slats have some surface splits and cracks but this does not affect the structural integrity of the bench or chair. The paint has some weathering and fading. One corner of the bench back rest has a notch in it and there are some further knocks and chips to the edges of the seat and bench slats. The steel frames have some light scratches, scrapes and marks. The garden set is very attractive and has a great deal of charm. The furniture is solid and well made and would look wonderful on a patio, balcony or in a garden.
