A fantastic, reclaimed, vintage mid-century aluminium garden trolley. The trolley, made by J. Stone & Co of Charlton, has a fantastic appearance and has a registered design number, RD856082, dating it to 1948. The trolley retains some of its original blue paint but has wear and scratches, giving it a vintage character look. The trolley has a good size, ridged, bed for carrying items and it sits on four wheels with tyres. The tyres are solid and the wheels are made of an inner and outer plate that are bolted around the tyre. The trolley is in good, useable condition with some signs of use and slight damage, as expected of reclaimed items. One wheel has some damage to the inner plate that will not affect its use, unless you move something very heavy (see last picture for details of damage). There are some small knocks to the metal. The trolley bed has some discolouration and chipped paint. The wheels have some surface rust. Please see pictures for condition details. The trolley is useable and could be used for carrying lighter items or could make a lovely item for displaying plants in the garden or for a shop display. The trolley has a fantastic vintage appearance with great character.
