A pair of attractive, reclaimed, original Georgian pine doors suited for internal use. The doors have a fantastic design, with the front face having raised and fielded panels in differing sizes, with bolection mouldings surrounding them. The internal face has recessed panels with decorative mouldings. The doors have had a closing bead added to the inner edge so they sit nicely together. The pine has been stripped but there are stains and marks and purchaser may wish to sand them further and finish them to suit. The doors can be painted but it will take a while for them to dry out. The doors are of a considerable age and have had some repairs and restoration and there are signs of use and some damage. The doors have some splits and surface cracks. The doors have had some patch repairs to damaged areas and some filler applied to hardware holes and smaller holes that can be seen. There is some slight separation to some of the joints and some of the mouldings are loose. The edges and corners have some knocks and damage. The doors will need some further sanding and filling. The doors are now only suited to interior use. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have great character and a fantastic period look that will make a lovely feature for a home.
