A handsome, original, reclaimed Georgian oak wall panel. The panel has a fantastic period appearance with raised and fielded panels, of varying sizes, surrounded by moulded edging. The oak has a rich colour and has been varnished, stained or waxed at some point, and this highlights the grain. The two side edges and the base have each had a pine baton added but this is of a differing colour and could be removed by purchaser to restore the panel to its original look. The panel is perfect for a wall or could be used for other interior projects such as a large headboard. The panel is in good, solid condition with some character signs of wear and some damage due to its considerable age. There are some splits and cracks in the raised panels but the panel is stable. There are some holes, splintered areas and knocks. There are some slight gouges in the wood. Some scratches and marks can be seen and the back face has some patches, discolouration and a rougher surface. Please see pictures for condition details. The oak panel is a lovely example of Georgian design and would make a fantastic period feature within the home.
