A very handsome and stylish reclaimed, modern, pine Georgian style door. The door has a quality construction with stub tenon joints and it is unusual to find such a well made and attractive modern door. The door is heavy and thick and can therefore be used internally or externally. The door has a fantastic appearance and is a modern reproduction of a style typical of the Georgian era. There are two solid cricket bat style raised panels at the base of the door and 16 rectangular glazed panels at the top with elegant glazing bars in-between. The door has been undercoated but there are some stains and marks and purchaser may prefer to sand and re-undercoat before finishing with a top coat of paint. The door is glazed with plain glass but one pane is missing and the glass DOES NOT meet current safety standards and will therefore need to be removed. Please contact us to discuss this. The door is in very good condition but has some slight signs of use and wear, as expected of reclaimed items. The door has some holes and marks where hardware has been removed. We can patch repair holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details and a quote. The door has some small knocks, splinters and small holes. The paint has some marks and stains, especially to one side. The door height will need levelling. Hardware will need to be supplied by purchaser. The door is an unusual and very attractive item and its Georgian style charm would be a fantastic addition both period and modern homes.
