A reclaimed, internal / external, Cardiff style, pine glazed door. The door is very well made, solid and heavy and has a nice design. The pine is of a good quality and is perhaps pitch pine. The door has two raised and fielded panels at the base of the external face and the top half of the door has 18 glazed panels that are arranged in an interesting design. The panels have elegant glazing bars and the door is currently fitted with ripple glass. The glass is unlikely to meet current safety standards and one panel also has a break and one has an imperfection. The glass MUST be changed, before the door is used, to meet safety requirements. We can reglaze the door for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The pine has a nice colour and interesting grain. The door is in solid condition with some signs of use and wear, as expected of reclaimed items. The door has some knocks and chips and there is some light damage to the base and to the glazing bars where they have sustained knocks. The door has some surface cracks, scratches and marks. There are some holes and marks from hardware removal. The base has some small holes and fading where a weather strip has been removed. The hinges have surface rust. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has an elegant appearance and is very well made, making a fantastic addition to a home.
