A reclaimed painted, glazed, pine door for internal or external use. The door is likely to date to the early 20th Century and is solid and well made. The door is traditional in design with two recessed panels at the base, with one side having decorative mouldings around them. The top half of the door has two panels that have been glazed with clear glass. The glass WILL NOT MEET CURRENT SAFETY STANDARDS and it will be removed for sale. We can re-glaze the door for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The door has been painted white but the paint has staining, chipping and flaking and you will need to sand and re-paint the door to suit. The door is in solid condition with some wear and signs of age, as expected of reclaimed antiques. There are some knocks, surface cracks and chips to the door, especially the edges and corners. One side edge and the bottom of the door have sustained some knocks and have some splintering. The hinges have rust and will need replacing. The door has some holes and marks from hardware removal. The door height and width may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is a nice period item for adding character to a home.
