A reclaimed crittall door in frame, for internal use. The door is likely to date to the early 20th Century and has a great industrial look. The door has a solid section at the base with metal strips to form a panel design. Above the panel, the door has a large centre panel and thinner border and corner panels. The centre panel needs to be glazed, with glass that meets current safety standards. The smaller panels have been glazed with clear glass. The door is set into a frame and the brass hinges are in full working order. There is a handle, but please note there is no key. The door is in solid condition but will need some refurbishment. The door has a slide bolt housing but the slide bolt is missing. The paint has chipping and flaking. There are some patches of surface rust and tarnish. One of the metal panel strips has a bulge in it. The edges have some nails remaining. Some of the glazing putty is missing. Please see pictures for condition details. Crittall doors are currently extremely popular and the door has a great industrial look, retaining much of its period charm. The door, once refurbished, will make a stunning feature in a home.
