A very attractive, decorative door surround that has been made using reclaimed architectural features. The door surround comprises of a reclaimed antique wooden mantel that has carved scrolling leaves and a shield in the centre. The wood mantel has a very nice colour and there is some slight paint residue that gives it an antique rustic look. Below the mantel are two painted wooden columns, one on each side, attached to a wooden backing. The columns have fluted detailing and ionic tops. The columns are attached to thick wooden feet that can be cut down in size to adjust the height of the door surround, if required. The surround has been constructed using reclaimed materials and they have some signs of use and age. There are some small knocks and chips to the wood. The top of the door surround has some residue paint. There are some small gaps where sections join. The outer pine has some small holes and splits. The paint has some knocks and chips. Please see pictures for condition details. The door surround has a very nice decorative look and would make a wonderful feature in a room.
