A very characterful, reclaimed, 250 year old pit sawn Georgian floorboard. The floorboard is thick and heavy and is ideal for a shelf or another interior project. The oak has an abundance of character and interesting features and the oak has been cleaned, showing its lovely colour and grain. The edges of the board have a simplistic tongue and groove style. The last picture shows a piece of oak from the same batch that has been waxed, to show how the oak would look if you choose to apply a wax finish. The board has some signs of its considerable age, adding great character to the oak. The tongue and groove style edge has some damage. The board has uneven edges and the board tapers at each end where there is some damage. The oak has some groves, notches and knocks. The oak has some surface splits, cracks and holes. The oak has some scratches and discolouration. The back has some cut marks and gouges. Please see pictures for condition details. The board is a wonderful Georgian find and it would make a fantastic period feature.
