A set of six reclaimed old, French, oak cowshed beams, some with holes in the ends. The beams have a fantastic rustic appearance that show their age and have interesting characteristics and wear. The beams are ideal for interior projects, such as interesting stair spindles. The beams each have slightly different sizes and shapes and each has differing and interesting characteristics. The oak has been waxed and each has a good colour and finish. The beams have some signs of age and wear, as expected of reclaimed items. There are some splits and surface cracks but each beam is solid and stable. There are some notches, holes, knocks and natural wear. Some signs of old, treated, woodworm. There is some colour variation. Some beams have cut marks, indentations and uneven ends. The beams have some uneven edges and sides from weathering and wear. Please see pictures for condition details. The beams are of a nice quality and appearance and are ideal for a home project.
