A reclaimed, heavy and solid, teak narrow door or window frame / opening. The frame is a reclaimed antique and it is believed to have originated from India. The teak frame is very thick with a top and bottom crossbar and routed or carved detailing around the sides. The inside face has a rebated edge for a door or window to sit. The frame could be built into a structure or used as an interesting decorative piece for internal or external use, provided it is treated with a finish suitable to offer weather protection. The frame is in solid condition with some signs of wear and age. The frame has some knocks and wear. The base has some losses to the wood and some surface splits. There are some holes and small gouges. The frame has some residue red paint in the routed / carved detail. The teak has some discolouration and staining. Some of the joints have some separation. Please see pictures for condition details. The frame is an interesting and well made item with a lot of reclaimed character.
