A reclaimed, vintage, octagonal ceramic basin / sink. The basin has a nice period design with 8 sides and stepped edge detailing. The basin is suitable for mounting on top of or sunken in to a base and is of a suitable size for a cloakroom, smaller bathroom or could be used in a shepherds hut or similar. The basin has some waste fittings at the bottom of the sink but please note it has not been tested for leaks and there is no plug. The sink is in good reclaimed condition with some signs of use and wear, as expected of vintage items. The basin has some staining and residue left from limescale and cleaning products that may be improved by cleaning with specialised products. There are some small chips and scratches and the front edge has a thin scratch that is brown in colour. The underside of the basin has some marks. The metal ring for a plug, at the base of the basin, has tarnish. Please see pictures for condition details. The sink has a very attractive shape and design that would be ideal for adding vintage character to a bathroom.
