A reclaimed, vintage, ceramic sink / basin. The "Modern Pyramid" sink was made by Alfred Johnson & Son Ltd and likely dates to C.1930-1940. The sink has two indentations on either side of the taps for soap and the taps have a brass colour. The sink has retained the small plug. The sink is in good solid condition with some signs of age and wear, as expected of reclaimed items. There are some small scratches and marks and there is a thin crack to the top left hand side but it does not appear affect the strength of the sink. There are some stains, limescale and residue silicone that may improve with further cleaning. The left hand side has some plastic or chipped porcelain. The underneath of the sink has some staining and some flaking to the pipe coating. The taps, metal chain, plug and ring have some tarnish and scratches. The makers stamp has some fading to the paint. Purchaser will need to add the necessary pipework. Please see pictures for condition details. The sink has a very nice vintage, period appearance and would be a nice addition to a bathroom.
