Nine long reclaimed pine boards that were originally used in a Dutch cheese factory, SOLD SEPERATELY and priced at £110 PER BOARD. Boards are labelled A-J, please let us know which board you would like on a first come, first served basis.
Each cheese board was reclaimed from a Dutch cheese factory and used as shelving for cheese. The boards are pine and have a very nice colour and grain. Most boards have breadboard ends and one has this detail on a longer side. Some of the boards have gently rounded edges and others have straight cut edges. The boards have a great deal of character and have white marks, that cannot be sanded out, from where the cheese sat. The marks give the pine a very interesting look and would be ideal for shelving or for another rustic project.
The boards are all in good solid condition with various signs of wear and use, as expected. Some boards have some orange residue and staining. A few boards are missing the breadboard ends. The boards have some surface splits and cracks. There is some evidence of woodworm in some of the boards but the woodworm is now likely to be dead. Some boards have wood knots and there are some knocks and chips to the boards. Board E has a gouge in one side. Please see pictures and further information below for condition details.
