A set of very nice, reclaimed, Victorian path tiles that will cover an area of 4 square metres. The path tile set comprises of 350 larger, brick coloured, octagonal tiles and 350 small encaustic white tiles with blue flower detailing. The smaller tiles sit in the centre of where four octagonal tiles meet. The main photograph represents 1/7 of the tiles (0.6 SQM), to illustrate how the tiles are designed to be laid together. We have photographed the piles of the other tiles that are included in the set (last 2 pictures). Please note, the smaller white tiles are thicker than the octagonal tiles but they have been reclaimed from the same house and are designed to be placed together with the larger tiles.
The tiles are in good useable condition but have some signs of age and some damage, as expected of reclaimed items. Some of the tiles have chips and knocks, mainly to the edges and corners. Some of the small encaustic tiles have some damage to the underside. The tiles have some staining, paint splashes and there is some residue adhesive around the edges. Please see pictures for condition details. The tiles have a very elegant design and are ideal for an inner porch floor or a smaller path. The tiles are a lovely example of period design and would add great character to a home.
