Code: M2058
Dimensions:
A rustic reclaimed antique Jali air window believed to be from Morocco. The window has a hardwood framed construction with a decorative metal air grill panel. The front face of the window has much of the original paint which has weathering, revealing multiple colours which adds to the rustic appearance of the window. The base of the window is stepped, presumably to allow it to fit in its original position. The window is in good solid condition with some signs of it age that add great character and charm. The metal grill has some tarnish. The original paint has some losses and flaking. The frame has some weathering and natural wavy edges and the back of the window especially has been left natural and has some curves and does not have straight edges. The top of the window, at the back, has a curved edge. The wood has some deep surface splits and some knocks but the window is solid and strong. Please see pictures for condition details. The window would make a fantastic architectural feature for a garden or interior or you could add mirror glass and hang it on a wall. The window has a very nice rustic antique look and it would make a characterful feature for a home.
Measurements 65cm x 89cm - (84cm at back where it is stepped)
