A very attractive, rustic, eight seater dining table made using reclaimed oak. The dining table top has been converted from the back rest and seat of an oak pew and the top has smooth rounded edges. The top has been cleaned, waxed and polished to reveal the oaks beautiful colour and very attractive grain. The legs are made from very old oak beams that were originally used in a cow shed. The legs have charming character, with some wear and erosion from the cows rubbing against the oak. The base is solid and sturdy and there is a centre stretcher and two side stretchers. As the table has been made from reclaimed materials there are some signs of wear and age that add to the tables rustic charm. The old oak beams have some wear, erosion and small holes from treated woodworm. There are some wood knots visible. The legs have some very slight colour variation and stains. The top has some slight scratches and marks, as expected of reclaimed items. There are some darker marks and slight colour variation. Please see pictures for condition details. The table is beautifully made, with an abundance of rustic character, and would make a wonderful addition to the home.
