An attractive and solid reclaimed antique oak door dating to C.1910. The door is suitable for exterior or interior use but please note the door has no letter box hole. The door has an attractive look, with a large panel at the base of the door and six top panels, one with an attractive arched top, ready for glazing. The oak has been sandblasted and has a slightly textured finish. The door could be sanded to smooth and then finished by purchaser with either a wax, oil or paint finish. The door hardwear has been removed and some patch repairs have been made to fill the hardwear holes. The door is reclaimed and therefore has some slight damage and cosmetic signs of wear. The door has some slight splintering and knocks to some edges and corners. Some of the glazing bars have some slight separation. There is a notch in the edge of the door where the lock has been removed. No hinges or hardware and these will need to be supplied by purchaser. The door may need slight levelling as there is small height differences in the door. The door is ready for re-finishing and glazing and the door would look fantastic with both plain and patterned glass. We can quote for glazing, please contact us for details. The door is solid and of a great design, giving wonderful style and character to a home.
