A very attractive reclaimed pitch pine Gothic style church door for internal or external use. The door is very solid and well made. The pine has been varnished and has an attractive deep colour. The door still retains its "Vestrys" door plate which is a lovely feature, referring to the original use of the door. The plate can be removed by purchaser if preferred. The main feature of the door is the beautiful arched top in the Gothic style. The external face of the door is planked and the internal face has a thick pitch pine framework. We can advise on fitting and make a frame or door liner for an extra charge. The door is reclaimed and therefore has some slight signs of use and wear. There are some knocks, gouges and chips to the wood. There is a knock to one of the base corners and some splintering to the external face's base. There are some scratches and marks and the door may require stripping and refinishing by purchaser. There are some holes where door hardware has been removed. The door is very well made and solid and has a stylish appearance. Perfect for a period or contemporary project, the door is a very desirable item.
