A lovely Gothic style oak door with an abundance of character. The door can be used externally or internally but will need to be finished with a suitable exterior wax, paint or varnish if to be used externally. The door has a very large panel, ready for glazing and would look fantastic with either plain or frosted glass. We can glaze the door for an EXTRA CHARGE, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The door is well constructed and is mortised and tenoned. The oak has been cleaned to bare wood. The door has an attractive, slim, raised cricket bat style panel at the base of the door. The door is an antique and has some signs of age. There are some marks and stains left after cleaning. The door has some surface splits and cracks, especially to the hinge area. There are some rough edges to the inner glazing panel. There are some holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. We can patch repair the holes and repair the split for an extra charge, please contact us for details. The door will need some slight leveling. The door has great character and would look wonderful with glazing. A lovely statement piece for the home.
