A reclaimed oak cottage door. The door is heavy and well made and comprises of a mortise and tenon structure with oak planks applied to the front face. The door is suitable for internal use or could be used externally if it is placed in a sheltered area. The door has a rustic, traditional style with oak cover strips and Gothic style iron door straps. There are some small wooden latches left. The door is in good reclaimed condition with some small signs of wear and use. The door has some small holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. The oak has some scratches, marks and some small knocks and chips, especially to the edges and corners. The rising butt hinges will need changing as only half of each remains. The door has a small amount of filler. There is a visible join on each side where the planks were applied to the frame. The door height and width may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a very nice rustic appearance and is ideal for a cottage or country home.
