A substantial reclaimed oak glazed internal or external door. The door is Georgian in style with gunstock stiles, a flush panel at the base and twelve glazed panels above it. The door is very heavy and well made and the oak has a fantastic "tiger" grain. The door is currently glazed with wired, textured, glass but the glass will need to be changed to meet safety requirements and to suit purchasers taste. We can re-glaze the door for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The oak has a light wood stain or varnish, highlighting the lovely wood grain. The door is currently set up for internal use but could be converted for external use by adding putty to the glazing bead, please contact us for advice. The door is in very good condition with some small signs of use and wear, as expected of reclaimed items. There are some small knocks and chips and some scratches to the oak. The door has some holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. The hinge slots are deep with a chamfered edge and these slots can be seen when looking at the door from both sides. One hinge slot area has a crack below it from hinge removal. The door height will need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a very nice appearance and is of a good quality construction and would make a nice feature in a home.
