A handsome reclaimed oak plank internal or shed door. The door is very heavy and sturdy and has a nice Gothic, traditional style appearance. The door comprises of three thick oak planks with detailing. The door has fantastic Gothic pyramid iron studs across it, adding great character. The back face of the door has three thick ledges. The oak is of a nice quality and has a good grain. The door is reclaimed and therefore has some signs of use and damage, as expected. The door has a split in one plank however it has been glued and braced on the back face and the door has no structural weakness. As the door does have a split it is suited to internal use or perhaps as a shed door. The door has some holes from hardware removal and some shadows where door straps were previously fitted. The oak has some scratches, small knocks, chips and wood knot holes. Some hardware holes have been filled. There are some surface splits, mainly to the ledges. The door width may need some slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is a nice example of a traditional oak plank door and its Gothic stud detailing and attractive wood grain makes it a desirable item for a rustic or country home.
