A very handsome, reclaimed, Neo-Georgian oak door for internal or external use. The door is very heavy, of a good size and has been very well made. The door has a very nice appearance with six panels of varying size. The recessed panels are surrounded by oak beading. The wood has a wonderful grain and the oak has been quarter sawn and lovely medullary rays can be seen. The door has a varnished or stained finish that highlights the grain. There is a viewing hole and the door has three heavy brass hinges. The door is in good solid condition with some signs of use and wear, as expected of reclaimed antiques. The door has some knocks and chips and one of the base corners has a knock and a small amount of wood missing. There are some holes and marks from hardware removal. We can patch repair larger holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details and a quote. The lock edge has had a patch repair. The oak has some scratches and marks. Some small holes have been filled with wood filler. The hinges have some tarnish. The door height may need some levelling.  Please see pictures for condition details. The door is a handsome reclaimed antique item that would make a very nice feature for a home.
