An attractive solid and heavy, reclaimed, oak door with 4 square panels framing a square, glazed, panel and a further 9 small rectangular panels below. The glazed panel has ripple effect glass. The door has been stripped to bare wood and has an attractive colour and grain. The door has attractive moulding inbetween each panel with a chamfered edge and the door has a solid edge and base rail. The back has plain moulding. The door has a lovely classic, cottage style. There is a space for a letterplate under the glazed panel. The makers name plate is attached to the side and was manufactured by Ebdon's of Croydon. The door is ready for finishing by purchaser, with perhaps a varnish or wax, suitable for exterior use. The door also requires hardwear, to be supplied by purchaser. The door is reclaimed and therefore has some signs of wear. The edges have some splits and knocks. The door has some holes and wear from hardwear removal. There are some slight colour variations to the oak, marks and scratches. The edge with the lock hole has a thin patch repair. The door is solid with great style, ideal for a cottage or country home. The oak is of a fantastic quality and is a desireable and stylish item.
