A very attractive reclaimed oak front door with a rustic, country style appearance. The door has been stripped to bare wood and has a lovely colour and grain. The door is solid, heavy and very well made with mortise and tenon joints. The door has 12 raised and fielded panels with the top panels forming an arched design. There are some small decorative cast iron studs in the front of the door. The top half of the door has a small panel, ready for glazing, and would look fantastic with plain, stained or patterned glass. We can quote for glazing, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The door hardware has been removed and there is space for a letter box at the base of the door. The door is ready for finishing by purchaser, with perhaps a varnish or wax, suitable for exterior use. The door also requires hardware, to be supplied by purchaser. The door is reclaimed and therefore has some slight signs of wear. There are some small knocks, scratches and surface splits. The door has some small stains and discoloration. There are some holes where the original door hardware has been removed. We could patch repair holes for an extra charge. Please talk to us if you would like a quote or advice. The door ideal for a cottage or period country home and the oak is of a fantastic quality, making the door is a very desirable item.
