A very attractive oak front door with a cottage style appearance. The door has been stripped to bare wood and has a lovely colour and grain. The door is of a very good quality design, with mortise and tenon joints. The door has raised mouldings creating a vertical panelled effect. The door has an iron letter box in the centre. The door is ready for finishing by purchaser, with perhaps a varnish or wax, suitable for exterior use. The door requires hardware, to be supplied by purchaser. The door is very well made but is reclaimed and therefore has some slight signs of wear. There are some small knocks, chips and marks, especially to the edges. Some holes and marks where the door hardware has been removed and some small nail holes. We can patch repair door hardware holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details. There is some slight colour variation and stains. The internal face has some wear to the base edge and there is a gap between the rail and floor. The door height may need slight leveling. The door is solid, with great style, ideal for a cottage or period country home. The oak is of a fantastic quality and the door is a very desirable item.
