A very heavy, reclaimed, mahogany Gothic style front door. The door is solid and well made and has an attractive appearance with a Gothic style arch and vertical panels created using raised moldings. The door has a raised square panel in the centre and above it a textured glass panel. The glass does not currently meet safety regulations and will need replacing. We can replace the glass for an extra cost, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The door has a Gothic style, decorative iron letterbox. The external face has been varnished and the sides and internal face painted white, however the door could be stripped and refinished by purchaser. The door is in good solid condition but has some slight signs of use and wear. There are some knocks, scratches and chips, especially to the edges and corners and where hardware has been removed. There is some slight colour variation to the front face. There is a small gouge on the internal face by the letter box opening. The weather strip has some damage to one end. Some small patches of white paint can be seen on the edges of the external face. The door has a good style and is thick and heavy, suiting a Gothic, period or character home.
