A reclaimed external oak cottage style door. The door is well made and solid and has a nice rustic appearance. The front face of the door has been stripped and has thick oak strips that run vertically down the door. There is an iron letter box plate and covered escutcheon that are painted black and traditional in style. The oak on the front face has a nice colour which highlights the attractive wood grain. The front face is ready for finishing by purchaser to suit. The back face of the door has a planked design and the wood has been varnished or stained and has a darker colour. The door has a drip bar on the external face. The oak door is in good reclaimed condition, with some signs of use and age, adding to its rustic character. The door has some small surface splits that do not affect the structural integrity of the door. There are some holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. There are some knocks and chips and there is a surface crack and slight damage to the base edge of the inside face. One top corner has a knock. The front of the door has some colour variation and some stains and the oak has some scratches and marks. There are some small filled holes. The door height may need slight levelling. The letter box plate and covered escutcheon have some tarnish and slight surface rust. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a lovely, traditional, cottage appearance and would be ideal for a period country home.
