A reclaimed oak cottage external door. The door has a lovely rustic appearance with a planked design and a ledge and brace design on the bottom half of the internal face. The top part of the door has a panel ready for glazing. We can quote to glaze the door, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The door has space for a letter box plate below the glazing panel. The front face of the door has been stripped but there is a wood stain on the internal face that gives the oak a darker tone. The external face of the door is ready for purchaser to paint or stain with a suitable finish for exterior use. The door is in solid, useable condition with some signs of wear and slight damage, as expected of reclaimed items. The oak has some knocks and chips and there are some small holes. There are some larger holes and marks left from hardware removal. We can patch repair larger holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details and a quote. The internal face of the door has a split and small hole on one edge. The oak has some marks, scratches and water stains, especially to the front face and this will need to be considered when deciding on a finish for the door. The base of the door has a groove, perhaps where a drip bar was removed. There is some slight separation to the beading joins around the glazing panel on the internal face.
