A very substantial and handsome, reclaimed, oak front door and frame. The door has a Gothic style apearance with an arched top and square recessed panels. The thick oak surrounding each panel has chamfered edges. The top centre of the door has a panel fitted with frosted, textured glass. The glass has a Gothic style iron grid covering it, attached with heavy studs. The door has a black metal handle, bolt and small door knocker, all with Gothic detailing. The door comes with a heavy and thick oak frame. The oak has a beautiful colour that highlights the attractive wood grain. The door is in very good condition with some small signs of use, as expected of reclaimed items. The oak has some small scuffs, marks, scratches and knocks from use. The back face of the door has some slight discolouration to one edge. The frame has some paint residue and splintering around the edges. The iron door hardware has some slight surface rust and tarnish and there is some light tarnish to the hinges. One of the door joints does have some slight separation and it may need pegging. Please contact us to discuss this if you require any advice. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a fanatstic appearance and would make a real showpiece for a home. The door is of a very large and imposing size and would be ideal for a Gothic style property or country home.
