A handsome reclaimed oak cottage external door with glazed panel. The door is heavy and well made with mortise and tenon joints. The door has a nice design with vertical panels created by oak cover strips. The door does have a small panel, currently fitted with textured glass, however we believe this may not meet safety requirements and will need replacing, please contact us to discuss this. We can quote to re-glaze the door, please contact us for details. The oak has been stripped and cleaned and has a nice colour. Purchaser could finish the door to suit with a wax or stain suited to external use. The door is in good reclaimed condition with some slight signs of wear. The door has some holes and marks from hardware removal and there are some uneven edges to the letter box hole. We can patch repair hardware holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details. There are spaces where hinges have been removed. Door hardware will need to be supplied by purchaser. Some of the beading joins have separated slightly. There are some small knocks and chips to the oak and some discolouration and scratches. The door is approximately 6mm out of square, please speak to us for advice.
