A reclaimed oak external door. The door is extremely heavy and well made and comprises of a ledge and brace frame with thick oak planks attached. The front face of the door has vertical cover strips and there is a space for a letter plate. The door retains some of its door hardware including a Gothic style knocker on the external face and a small pull handle on the internal face. The door has a lock but there is no key and therefore will need to be changed by purchaser. The door has been varnished but it has some stains, scratches and colour variation and purchaser may wish to sand and re-finish the door to suit. The door is in solid condition with some signs of age and use, as expected of reclaimed items. The door has some knocks and chips, especially to the edges and corners. The door finish has some fading and stains. There is an area with indentations on the external face and there are some scratches. There are some holes and marks left from hardware removal. The door hardware has some surface rust. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is a handsome and quality item that would be a great feature for a home.
