A handsome, reclaimed, oak front door. The door is very well made and is a modern reclaimed door in the Gothic style. The door has a stylish multi panelled design with 12 panels, 11 of which are solid and one that has been fitted with clear ripple glass. The top panels have been shaped to form a slight arch and the thick oak around the recessed panels have chamfered edges. The glass is unlikely to meet current safety standards and you must check with your builder before use. If the glass does not meet standards it MUST be changed before it is used. We can change the glass or we could remove the glass and replace it with an oak panel, if preferred, for an extra charge. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The door has an iron pull handle on the front face of the door. The door has two locks but one has no key and the other lock is unreliable and purchaser will need to change them. The door has had a oil or waxed finish at some point but there is some fading and discolouration.
The door is in good reclaimed condition with some signs of use, as expected. There are some knocks and chips to the oak, especially to the edges and corners. There are some scratches and discolouration to the wood. The door hardware has some tarnish. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a nice appearance and it would make a great item for a home.
