A rustic style, reclaimed, oak half stable door. The half door is solid and very heavy and is ideal for use as a garden gate or half door for an outbuilding or similar. The half stable door has planked detail on the front face and a frame with brace on the back face. The oak has been stained in a dark colour that now has some fading and wear. The door has two iron strap hinges with hinge loops but there are no pin hinges and you will need to supply these. They are easily sourced on the internet. The door was originally paired with a top section, making a stable door, and it has a small tab at the top where it would have fitted with a top section. Please note, the half door no longer has the top section. You could cut the tab away if you prefer. The half door is in solid condition with some signs of age and a rustic appearance. The finish of the oak has some scratches, scuffs and marks. The half door has some knocks, chips and slight damage, especially to the edges. There is a block of chipboard attached to the back face that will need removing. There are some holes and marks from hardware removal. The strap hinges have surface rust. Please see pictures for condition details. The half door is ideal for a project or for a rustic garden gate and is well made with a nice appearance.
