Dimensions:
A reclaimed oak plank front / external door. The door has a nice traditional look and has been made using wide oak planks with a ledge and brace construction on the back face. The door has some interesting decorative features, with Gothic style studs holding oak cover strips on the front face of the door. The stud backs can be seen on the cover strips on the back face of the door. There is a drip bar at the base of the door on the front face. The door has an unusual and attractive oak handle with decorative brass centre and metal spiked handle plate. The door has a brass knocker and letter plate. The back face of the door has two hinge straps. The door has a lock but there is NO KEY and you will need to replace it.
The door is in solid condition with some signs of age and wear, as expected. The door has some discolouration and wear to the finish and you will need to sand and re-finish the door to suit. The door has some small holes and marks left from door furniture removal. There are some thin surface splits in the wood and there are some wood knots. The door has some knocks and chips and there is some damage to one side edge where the door has been knocked. The hinges have some surface rust and paint residue. There is a thin baton at the top of the door which you will probably need to remove. An extra ledge has been added to the bottom edge of the door on the back face. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a nice appearance and it would make a good feature for a home.
