Code: DE1034
A modern, reclaimed, hardwood stable door and frame. The frame is probably made of sapele and the door has solid oak panels with veneered side rails, therefore we strongly advise that the door is placed in a covered area to stop direct weather hitting the wood, for example under a porch. The door has a nice traditional design with planked panel detailing and the top section of the door has a small panel, glazed with patterned tempered glass. The bottom section of the door has handles but the top section of the door will need a night latch and a bolt that goes into the bottom section of the door. Alternatively you could add two bolts, one to go in from the top section to the bottom section of the door and another that goes into the frame to secure the top. Please contact us should you require any information about the lock and bolts required.
The door and frame have been tested through use and are in good solid useable condition with some small signs of wear, as expected of reclaimed items. The door and frame have some knocks and chips and the frame has some damage on one side, where it was removed from its original position. The door has had some wood filler applied to hardware holes. The wood has some discolouration in places. The handles have some slight tarnish. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a nice traditional appearance and it would make a good feature for a home.
