A reclaimed Arts and Crafts Gothic style oak front / external door. The door is very well made with mortise and tenon joints and has a nice design with three vertical recessed panels that form a Gothic style arched shape at the top. The door has an iron handle and lock cover in a traditional style. The door has a varnished finish. The oak has a fantastic grain. The door has a lock but it has no key and you will need to replace it.
The door is in solid condition with some signs of age and wear, as expected. The door has some knocks, surface cracks and chips. There are some small holes, marks and shadows from hardware and weather strip removal. The base edge is slightly uneven where it has had some knocks and wear. One side of the door has a groove that runs down most of the right hand side (when looking at the front face). The lock has no key and you will need to change it. The iron door furniture has some wear and slight surface rust. The hinges have surface rust and residue paint. The bolt at the bottom of the door is stiff. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a very handsome appearance and is a nice example of Arts and Crafts design and it would make a fantastic feature for a home.
