Dimensions:
A handsome, reclaimed, Gothic style oak front / external door. The door has a very nice appearance with three recessed panels, with the top of the panels forming an arch. The door has Gothic style decorative iron studs, a letter plate with door knocker and there is a plastic view hole but it has some wear and you may wish to replace it. The oak has been stripped on both sides, ready for you to apply a finish to suit.
The door is in good condition with some signs of age and wear, as expected. The door has some knocks, surface splits and chips, especially to the edges and corners. The base of the door has some weathering and light damage and some screws have been added. The oak has some stains in areas. The door has some filler applied in areas. The main lock hole has been patch repaired on the back face. You could drill through the patch repair if you wish to add a lock there or we can patch the front for an EXTRA CHARGE, please contact us for details and a quote. There are some small holes and marks from hardware removal. The iron hardware has some slight losses to the paint and some surface rust. The knocker is slightly loose within the bracket. One door stud is slightly loose and two others are not flush with the door. When you apply the finish to the door you may wish to remove the studs and you could adjust the holes then, so the studs fit better. The door width and height may need some slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a very nice Gothic look and it would make a fantastic addition to a home.
