A very attractive reclaimed Arts and Crafts internal door. The door comprises of a thick pine core with an oak face applied to one side and a painted ply face on the other. The oak face has been made using reclaimed oak wall paneling and has fine detailing. There are 8 flat faced panels and detailing typical of the Arts and Crafts era. The door was probably used as a cupboard or wardrobe door as a ply sheet has been painted and added to the internal face. The door has a covered escutcheon and key plate, please note the door has no key. The door is very thick and solid but suited for internal use, perhaps for a cupboard or wardrobe. The door is a reclaimed item and therefore has some slight signs of wear. There are some holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. Some slight knocks, chips and areas where the varnish has worn. There is some slight staining and marks. The door height and width may need very slight leveling. The door has a very attractive appearance and is solid and well made. An ideal door for adding character and period charm to a home.
