An attractive internal, Gothic style, reclaimed oak door. The door has been sand blasted to bare oak and has an attractive colour and grain. The door comprises of twelve rectangular panels with a Gothic style arch to the top three. The door has thick rails between each panel. The panels are thinner than the door rails and stiles and therefore is suited to interior use. The door is ready for finishing by purchaser with a wax, oil or paint to suit. The door has the receivers for pin type hinges that would be attached to the frame but purchaser can remove and change the hinge type if preferred. The door is in good condition with some signs of wear and age, as expected of reclaimed items. The centre panels are quite thin. The door has some marks and holes where door hardware has been removed. We can patch repair holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details and a quote. The door has a slight texture to the oak from sand blasting. There are some surface splits and cracks that do not affect the structural integrity of the door and some small knocks, marks and uneven edges. Some wood knots and filler can be seen. The door has a slight twist, please call us to discuss. The height and width may need slight levelling. The door has a very attractive appearance and has a great Gothic style. The door is ideal for a period or modern home and is a well made and interesting item.
