A rustic, reclaimed, internal oak plank door. The door is well constructed with 3 planks, one thin and 2 thicker, with thick rustic oak batons on the back face. The oak has a lovely aged rustic feel and textured appearance with natural wear and an attractive grain. There is a wooden lever catch with string pull. The door has attractive iron hinge straps with unusual curved pin hinge receivers. There is an iron bolt on the back face. The door is solid and well made but does have some character signs of wear and rustic charm. The wood has surface splits, scratches, marks, knocks and small holes, all giving the door great character. There is some slight colour variation to the wood. The door has had some patch repairs and the main repair has not been stained to match the rest of the oak. There are some nails that have been flattened, visible on the front face of the door. The door furniture has some tarnish and slight surface rust. The base hinge has caused slight damage to the edge of the door and the hinge is missing the end. There are some treated woodworm holes. Door width and height may need some slight levelling. The top of the back face has some residue varnish or stain. One of the batons has natural wear and a scooped edge to the top. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is ideal for a cottage or rustic barn interior and has an abundance of style and aged charm.
