An old, rustic, reclaimed oak plank internal door, ideal for a cottage or country home. The door is well made, solid and very heavy and has an abundance of rustic charm. The door comprises of four large oak planks with four ledges on the back face of the door. The oak has a waxed front face and a darker wax / varnish or stain on the back face. The oak has a great deal of character and has a fantastic grain. The door has an iron thumb latch, bolts, hooks, hinge parts and a rim lock that has no key. The door is in solid condition with many rustic features and character signs of age. The door has some surface splits and cracks that do not affect the structural integrity of the door. The oak has some knocks and marks, mainly to the edges and corners. There are some filled hardware holes and patch repairs. The door has some small holes, marks and small treated woodworm holes. The iron door furniture and hinge parts have some tarnish and surface rust. There is some slight damage to the base of the door on the front face where a section of wood has broken away. The oak has scratches and colour variation. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is a fantastic rustic item with a great antique look, ideal for adding charm to a cottage.
