A solid and well made reclaimed pine plank door. The door has a nice rustic appearance and comprises of 9 pine planks with a ledge and brace construction on the back face. The front of the door has been painted in a pale grey and the back is stripped and has probably had a wax finish applied. The door is ideal for internal use or could perhaps be used for external use if checked for protection against weather. The door has two iron door straps and two locks but there are no keys and the locks will need to be changed. The door is reclaimed and therefore has some light signs of use and wear, as expected. The door has some small knocks and marks and some thin surface cracks, especially to the ledges. The back face of the door has some shadows from hardware removal and some discolouration and marks. The door hardware has some surface rust and the hinges are very stiff and may need to be replaced or loosened. The paintwork has some marks and there is a section at the base where it is not painted as a drip bar or similar was attached. Purchaser may wish to sand and re-finish the door to suit. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is of a good size and has nice character and would make a lovely feature in a rustic or country home.
