A handsome and unusual reclaimed oak and mahogany internal door. The stunning door is heavy and well made with one face oak and the other face mahogany. The join between the two sides is only slightly noticeable on the door sides and it is well constructed and solid. The door has a traditional style with six recessed panels in differing sizes. The oak has been stripped to bare wood and the mahogany side has a very nice high shine finish but please note the finish has some flaking, scratches and marks and you may wish to sand and re-finish that side to suit. The door is reclaimed and has some signs of use and age, as expected. The top of the door has several knocks and is slightly uneven. There are holes and marks from hardware removal and some of the holes have been lightly filled. The wood has some knocks and chips, especially to the edges and corners. The hinge slots have had some partial patch repairs to make the slots thinner. The high shine finish of the mahogany has some flaking, chipping, scratches and marks. The oak side has some light stains and scratches. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a very handsome appearance and is of a good quality, ideal for making a fantastic feature in a home.
PLEASE NOTE: We have a pair of doors of the same design but made of mahogany only, available for sale. Please see our listing reference DP0455 for further details.
