A reclaimed oak plank internal door. The door has a nice rustic appearance and comprises of thick oak planks with crown detail and iron studs across the front face. The back face of the door has three ledges. The door has iron strap hinges, a wooden slide bolt and pull handles. The oak has a very interesting grain and the door is solid and well constructed. The oak has been varnished or stained but you could sand and re-finish the door to suit, if you wish.
The door is reclaimed and therefore has some signs of use and wear, as expected. The door has some small knocks, surface splits and chips. Both faces of the base of the door have some slight damage with knocks, splits and a small amount of wood has broken away from the side of one plank. There is a big wood knot in one of the side edges, leaving a gouge. The oak has some scuffs and scratches. There are some holes in the ledges where nails and staples have been added and one ledge has a shadow and some small holes where a hook has been removed. The metal door hardware has some surface rust. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a great deal of character and would make a nice feature in a rustic or country home.
